TOUS EN SCÈNE – June 4 to 21, 2026

Every June, Culture Emulsion — the Middle East’s largest French-speaking theatre school — throws open the curtains for its most celebrated event of the year: TOUS EN SCÈNE.

For nearly three weeks, our entire academy takes the stage. From the youngest “graines d’acteurs” (age 6 and up) to adult beginners discovering their voice for the very first time, all the way to seasoned students performing full-length plays — every single one of our students steps into the spotlight. No passive spectators here: this is their moment.

Expect comedy, drama, musical, improvisation, and pure theatrical magic — multiple shows, multiple groups, one shared celebration of the performing arts. Come cheer on a friend, a colleague, a neighbour, or a family member, and discover them in a whole new light.

TOUS EN SCÈNE is more than an end-of-year showcase. It’s the beating heart of our community — a joyful, generous, and deeply human celebration of everything the stage can unlock.

Lucette Gautier, a café-concert singer, is madly in love with her lover, Fernand de Bois d’Enghien. She herself is passionately pursued by General Irrigua, a South American with a very approximate command of French. But Bois d’Enghien must urgently break things off with Lucette because, out of pure opportunism, he is about to sign his marriage contract that very evening with Viviane, the particularly sharp-witted daughter of Baroness Duverger. Too cowardly to tell Lucette the truth, he gets trapped in an increasingly tangled situation. When Bouzin, a notary’s clerk “by profession, but a writer by vocation,” arrives to offer one of his songs to Lucette, chaos erupts. Misunderstandings multiply, the pace quickens, and when Lucette schemes to be caught with Bois d’Enghien in the lightest of costumes, love hangs by only a thread!

Everyday situations in which everyone can recognize themselves, brought to life by sharp, delightful, and strikingly accurate dialogue. A comedy that is funny, touching, and universal—where we laugh a lot… sometimes at ourselves.

VENEZ DONC DINER CE SOIR – Frédéric Allard

Maryse and Louis Depierre are preparing to spend a summer evening with their family in their garden when their eldest daughter, Chloé, arrives with her fiancé, Marin, and his future in-laws. The problem is that Chloé has somewhat embellished her family’s situation so that it better matches the image she wants to project at her business school. Everyone will have to play along… Maryse and Louis, simple, warm-hearted, and open-minded, are suddenly forced to deal with Marin’s parents, conservative upper-class bourgeois with very narrow views. When two completely opposite worlds collide, the situation quickly becomes explosive. Add to this mix a blunt grandmother, a wild teenager, a brother who is as foolish as he is clumsy, an intrusive cousin, and two meddling, troublemaking neighbors, and the result is absolutely hilarious. A funny and explosive comedy that will delight every audience.

LE CERCLE DES ILLUSIONNISTES – Alexis Michalik

Several stories from different eras intertwine throughout the play. At its heart are the journeys of two pioneers of their craft—the illusionist Jean-Eugène Robert-Houdin and filmmaker Georges Méliès—along with the encounter of an anonymous young couple in the 1980s. This theatrical piece draws on both magic and cinema, not only in its subject matter but also in its staging. Come and experience this masterpiece by Alexis Michalik.

Moulin Rouge! is set in Paris during the Belle Époque and follows Christian, a young composer, who falls in love with Satine, a courtesan and the star performer of the famous Moulin Rouge cabaret. This musical blends pop songs with a rich theatrical love story.

In Moulin Rouge!, the romantic writer Christian arrives in Paris in 1899 and meets a group of bohemian artists trying to create a spectacular show. As Christian and Satine’s love grows stronger, they must keep their relationship secret from the Duke, who financially controls the Moulin Rouge and demands Satine for himself. When the Duke discovers their affair, he threatens to have Christian killed. After the final performance of “Come What May,” Satine dies in Christian’s arms, leaving behind a tragic and unforgettable love story.
